***DO NOT TAKE OFF MUCH MATERIAL***
Use 200-1000 grit sandpaper to take the sharp edge off the trigger bar (highlighted blue). This edge needs to be smooth. Round from the top point to the vertical face, and keep the rounding even down this edge. Without rounding, the trigger bar will want to catch on the device instead of sliding off. If the trigger pull feels extra gritty, you might need to smooth/round that edge slightly more. IF THE TRIGGER STICKS REARWARD, DO NOT WORRY, IT WILL FREE UP WITH USE, AND IT WILL NOT INHIBIT THE FORCED RESET.
HOW DOES IT RESET?
No it's not an auto sear! It’s IMPOSSIBLE for the Freedom Finger FRT device to trip the sear actuator or sear, because the sear actuator has to move THE OPPOSITE WAY in order to engage the sear and allow the striker to be fired. Notice how the sear does NOT MOVE while the device is pushing the trigger bar forward. It is only AFTER the trigger is reset, that you can pull the trigger and engage the sear.
